Where two or more are gathered in my name, I am there.” Matt. 18:20 RSV

Dinner for 8 or 6 — What is “Dinner for 8”? Or it could be “Dinner for 6” — you make the choice. Dinner for 8 or 6 is a great opportunity to meet and form friendships with people in the church. The groups will be for adults; however, if there are enough people interested we will offer groups that include children. Singles are encouraged to join—sign up with a partner or ask to be paired up; you would work as a team when it is your turn to host a dinner. All groups would be committed to meeting 4 times—or 3 times if Dinner for 6—to have dinner together. Groups will be selected randomly from those who sign up and will meet at each others homes during the coming year for a pot luck dinner. Hosts will provide the meat dish and the other dishes will be rotated as assigned. Dinners may be as formal or as casual as your group or host decides they’d like them—the purpose of the dinner is to enjoy fellowship with each other and become better acquainted. It is at the discretion of each host/hostess as to what beverages to serve. If you have any questions, please call us.

Women’s Group — Women of Good Shepherd meet once a month getting to know one another in a social setting. Past events: Checking out the art scene at the Nelson and the Crossroads district, movies, eating out, wine tastings, craft nights, helping out at City Union Mission. If you would like your name added to the email list or have an idea for an event, or just want more info., contact Susan Nielsen.

Lunch Bunch — We are a group of folks that meet for lunch on the 2nd Thursday of each month at area restaurants. Each month is hosted by a different person(s). Contact Helen Debniak for more information.
